A bonus travel experience of our trip to visit Antigua were staying at both the super unique luxury tent campsite and a chic boutique resort accommodations. Antigua is home to one of the few places to camp directly on the Caribbean beachfront. Offering are a perfect balance of travel experience magic and self-care indulgence.

Antigua does not carry a heavy touristy type vibe, but the islands economy does heavily rely on tourism and peak travel seasons. The increased presence of people during peak times may or may not be your vibe. Plan your trips according to what floats your boat for that moment. - The capital and largest port and city is St. John’s on Antigua
- Eastern Caribbean Dollar is the currency
- U.S. Currency is widely accepted, however you likely will receive change back in EUC.
- Rent a car to get around, it is a small island. Or download WhatsApp to keep in touch with a hired driver.
Travel Vibe Tips:
For plant and natural scenery lovers, a suggested best time to see the island at its greenest is December thru February.
The peak travel season months are December- April. Antigua also celebrates Summer Carnival as a celebration of the abolishment of slavery July 26- August 6.

Good Place to Eat: Divine Dining Experience
When we asked anyone, “what is the best place to eat while visiting Antigua”, we received the same answer. You guys have got to visit Sheer Rocks for the ambience and the food!! With everybody we encountered recommending Sheer Rocks as their “must go” dining experience, we followed the tide for a divine dining experience.
